What you’ll do

This position is the bridge between sales and product teams. You'll be working directly with the sales team, on the front side, running demos, collecting information from prospects, translating features into valuable insights and business perspectives during sales calls. You will also be working close to product teams, giving product feedback collected from prospects, helping with feature development and roadmap.

This position needs to have basic knowledge of GHG accounting and ESG general. There's an opportunity to grow this team much further based on demand, so the dynamics of the role might change accordingly. Initially, you'll be reporting directly to the CEO.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work with teams in developing business plans to achieve company goals.
  • Run demos for the sales team, and support the sales team with industry knowledge during sales calls.
  • Analyze competitive marketplace and industry trends to accordingly develop business strategies for revenue generation.
  • Help establish pricing strategies and guidelines for new product development.
  • Obtain customer feedback and suggest appropriate product revisions.
  • Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams in product development activities.
  • Recommend product enhancements and updates to identify new business opportunities.
  • Assist in new product introduction and release activities.
  • Conduct product and sales training.
  • Write articles about key findings, based on the company's strategy.
  • Support marketing team in developing sales and marketing strategies for profitability.
  • Provide support for marketing collaterals, advertising materials, marketing campaigns, tradeshows, and other promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to provide product engineering, development, management, and sales solutions.
  • Address customer issues and concerns in a timely fashion to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work with business team to identify new customers and to retain existing customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, business flow, sales process, and market dynamic.
  • Maintain complete documentation for all product-related activities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional product management experience (experience with startups is a plus)
  • Experience and knowledge of Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards and greenhouse gas quantification methodologies.
  • Experience working with large enterprise customers.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and coordinating skills
